6月20日讯 火箭TA队记Kelly Iko今日撰文披露，已有不少球队表达了想换得今年三号签的意愿，这其中，开拓者、黄蜂和灰熊对此兴趣最浓厚。
随着选秀日的临近，有关选秀权交易等的谈判和接触更多，火箭高层近期意识到，不少球队对克林根和谢泼德的兴趣增加，还有一些球队希望将自己的选秀顺位提高到马刺（拥有4号签和8号签）之前。
据球队和联盟的消息人士透露，有几支球队表达了想要提升至第三顺位的愿望，尤以黄蜂（6号签）、灰熊（9号签）、开拓者（7号签）为甚，而且黄蜂和灰熊最为积极。
